Guidance for implementation of the removals services during Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation

In accordance with the guidelines from the Government, NHS and the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the necessary measures to be taken during Coronavirus (COVID-19), the safety of Removals Zone customers is our top priority. We will keep providing removals services under strict precautions as follow:

- If you believe you have the symptoms, please inform us in advance. We can reschedule your service for another date;

- Avoid gathering friends and relatives to help during the removals service. It's best if you let the removals team take care of the move your home;

- Ensure only one representative on site, who is equipped with a face mask and gloves. If you do not have one, our team is instructed to provide you with a free set;

- Keep social distance of at least 2 metres or 6 feet away from the team;

- Travelling with the team in the van is not permitted.

- Get all of your belongings ready to moved before the service - label fragile items and boxes' designated rooms to limit contact with the team and keep the social distance;

- If you have any special instructions, please email them to us at the time of booking so we can thorougly inform the team of your requirements;

- For your safety we also provide free disinfection of your new home. If you have any requirements please note this when booking your service;

- Avoid touching your face during the day and make sure to wash your hands with soap thoroughly after the service is completed;

- Move home only if necessary

If you don’t follow the above guidance, this will be considered as a breach with Removals Zone Terms and Conditions and we might need to cancel your removals service and terminate the contract we have with you.

We will keep on monitoring the Coronavirus situation and the government updates and advices regarding the necessary further actions we have to take to avoid any further spread of the virus.
